Group Lessons

Group Lessons are our main training staple at Tincher Pitching - Alabama. These lessons are done in semi-private groups of 2.

Each student is assigned a ‘level’ after their first lesson. These levels help group them together with other similarly aged/skilled pitchers so they can learn efficiently together!

Level 1 groups are focused primarily on setting a solid foundation for younger pitchers, or pitchers who have mechanical issues they need extra help with. We do still cover some moving pitches in this class, but our philosophy is to set the fundamentals of a fastball first- which makes the moving pitches much easier!

Level 2 groups are focused on moving forward using the fundamentals as a base. We do a little of everything- often we may start with fundamental mechanics but move into moving pitches, spins, placement, strategy, and so much more.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are the best place to learn new moving pitches and master your in-game strategies, as well as take care of any major mechanical deficiencies. Currently private lessons are only offered for Level 2’s and New Students. All new students are required to start with a private lesson. (New here? Please see the “new students” tab for more info!) However, private lessons are not typically needed every single visit! We highly recommend doing a mixture of both lesson types. Each has its advantage!
